The sister event of the Flower Carnival is coming: the Ice Flower Carnival! 
This time, the flowers transform into icy blooms, and Debrecen comes alive with a carnival atmosphere even in November. 
Following last year’s successful debut, on November 21 from 5 PM, winter-themed flower floats, dancers and a true carnival spectacle will once again arrive at Kossuth Square. The spectacular parade will then make its way along Piac Street to Szent Anna Street.
The Ice Flower Carnival is a unique opening celebration of Debrecen’s winter festive season. 
The city’s Christmas market was ranked among the top 5 in Europe, while its ice rink was awarded the title of “Europe’s Most Beautiful Christmas Ice Rink” in 2025.
