KILLAKIKITT x NKS – Brigád 10th Anniversary Tour

After 10 years, the two untamable rap formations Killakikitt and NKS are joining forces once again. United as a brigade, they will take the tour from city to city to proclaim the next coming of rap’s golden age.

Killakikitt, who “drink your blood like beetroot juice,” was formed in 2007 after Aza and Tirpa left WaccuumAirs and created their own label, ScarcityBp. Under the banner of this label, Aza came up with the idea of starting a rap group of their own. He sat down with Tirpa to discuss creating a joint project that would represent not only a raw, outspoken street style, but also a slightly more mystical world.

Unlike most artists, Killakikitt do not rap about cheerful topics; their songs primarily focus on the darker, more negative sides of life. The duo later welcomed Soup into the group as well.

NKS (Nem Közölt Sáv) is one of the legendary duos of Hungary’s underground rap scene. Their album 5 csillag made them emblematic figures of Hungarian hip-hop. Their lyrics often delivered harsh criticism of the media and the reality surrounding us, while fitting into a “radio-friendly” format was never their goal.

To this day, NKS remains an important point of reference for a new generation of artists: raw, outspoken and uncompromising hip-hop.
