Ice Flower Carnival

This December, a completely new, magical winter event will come to life in Debrecen: the Ice Flower Carnival.

Inspired by the Flower Carnival, this new winter wonderland will see flowers transformed into ice flowers. In August, flowers danced; in December, ice flowers will bloom – the Ice Flower Carnival, the cozy winter "little sister" of the Flower Carnival, is coming.

On December 13, Debrecen will be dressed in ice, and a fairytale-like celebration will come to life: the ice will sparkle, music will play, the smell of chimney cake will mix with the Christmas atmosphere, and the wonders of childhood will be revived for a day.

Step into a celebration of ice and light – with stories frozen in ice, frosty surprises, and unforgettable moments!

10:00–17:00 – Ice sculptor demonstration (Kossuth Square)

Contributors: Debrecen Majorette Ensemble, Valcer Dance Studio, LESZ Dance, Piruett Dance Studio, drama students from Ady Endre High School, Zichy Youth Wind Orchestra, Énekelj! Singing Studio.
At the beginning of the parade, Anna Berettyán will perform the most famous song from Frozen – feel free to come dressed in your Frozen, elf, or Christmas costume.
Santa Claus will arrive in a carriage, and a festive flower cart will also add to the spectacle.

8:30–10:00 p.m. – Ice rink disco
We will end the day with a real winter party – with music, lights, and a lively atmosphere. ❄️✨
