Badár Sándor stand-up est
Description
A hilarious stand-up night with Sándor Badár in Debrecen!
Sándor Badár is an improvisational comedian and actor, an unmistakable figure in numerous Hungarian films, and an adventurous world traveller.
He attended the drama program at Horváth Mihály Secondary School in Szentes, where his classmates included Tamás Hevesi, Zoltán Ternyák and Csaba Jantyik. After finishing school, he worked for the railway for 12 years, first as a switchman and later as a traffic controller.
Whenever the film world calls, he appears on screen as an unmistakable character. His distinctive humor, improvisational skills and unique personality have made him one of the most memorable figures in contemporary Hungarian cinema. He is a close friend of András Szőke and a regular performer in his films.
His career has always been strongly influenced by his relationship with animals: alongside Boldog lovak, he has had to keep Papírkutyák, a Citromdisznó and even a Vattatyúk under Kontroll before experiencing A média diszkrét bája.
These days, he makes a profession out of telling Badár-style absurdities, and he certainly has no reason to complain – even the legendary Afrika has surrendered to him. He remains resistant to foreign languages, despite having already completed an Italian teleshop language course.
The program will be held in Hungarian.
